    Topcon Solutions Stores are designed to serve the market with product sales, service and support for the construction, surveying, mapping and related industries. This position will be responsible for the development of new and existing customer accounts and the pursuit of new business. Qualified candidates must be able to integrate Topcon’s solutions to solve customer needs.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Manage the sales and promotion of Topcon products.
    2. Develop new customer accounts by selling and promoting the value of Topcon products.
    3. Develop strategies for the adaptation of Topcon technology.
    4. Compile data on market trends, competitive products, and pricing.
    5. Participate in regional and national trade shows.
    6. Negotiate pricing of product to customers and maintain customer contact.
    7. Develop and document customer visits.
    8. Obtains competitive information on strategies, new products, and direction while communicating it to appropriate people within the company.
    9. Prepares bids and proposals, negotiates contracts and agreements.
    10. Prepare written sales planning materials regarding potential customers and forecasting.
    11. Performs other duties as required

    Qualifications

    Requirements and Skills:

    1. BS in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent
    2. Experience in civil engineering, construction or survey. 
    3. Superior listening and interpersonal skills
    4. Ability to successfully work in teams
    5. Sound business and financial acumen
    6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
    7. Strong communication skills both verbal and written
    8. Open to travel
    9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    10. High energy level, possesses stamina, able to work long hours
    11. Works well with uncertainty, open to change
    12. Strong presentation and negotiation skills
    13. Able to be a leader in both personal and business endeavors
    14. Creative drive and results oriented
